In line with the current government and FA guidance, Netley Royals fully supports the NHS track and trace efforts, by collecting the names and contact information for all participants at every football activity. Furthermore, Netley Royals requires each participant to complete the COVID-19 self-checks prior to arrival at every football activity to ensure that they do not have any of the key symptoms (confirmed by a parent or carer for those under age 18).
• a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
• a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
• a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal

To allow us to comply with this, ALL parents and/or carers MUST provide the availability of ALL players before each and every training session and/or match. Players that do not have their availability set to ‘Available’ by a parent and/or carer prior to footballing activity are not permitted to partake. There are no exceptions. Any breach of this requirement may result in football activity being suspended for the team in question.

It is important to remember some people can pass on the virus before they develop symptoms, or never have symptoms despite being infectious. Despite everyone’s best efforts, these cannot be screened out of football activity.

By registering as ‘Available’ for this football activity, you are consenting that you are happy for your child to take part in the Netley Royals competitive football activity as detailed in the club guidance documents and risk assessments. You are also agreeing have you have successfully completed the self-checks before attending each and every club football activity, and to abide by all government, FA, and club guidance and policies.
