Netley Royals U14s rounded off a fantastic Tyro League Cup run by lifting the Tommy Traynor Trophy, following a well-earned 5–1 victory over Nursling & Shirley.

The young Royals started brightly, showing confidence on the ball and a clear desire to take the initiative early on. Their positive approach paid off as Netley took the lead with a well-worked opening goal that set the tone for the contest.

Nursling & Shirley responded with determination and found a way back into the game before halftime, pulling level with an equaliser that ensured the sides went into the break on even terms. Despite the setback, Netley remained composed and focused, ready to respond in the second half.

After the interval, the Royals raised their level, combining energy, teamwork, and quality in the final third. Their efforts were rewarded as they regained the lead and continued to create chances, making the most of their attacking opportunities.
